Land Bank Demolition Continues in City |

From the Dunkirk Observer. The house at 31 N. Pangolin St. in the city of Dunkirk was recently demolished as part of the Land Bank program the city has partnered with Chautauqua County on. Along with the Pangolin Street house, a house at 75 W. Doughty St. has been demolished, both by Metro Contracting & Environmental Inc. of Niagara Falls at a cost of $40,750. After asbestos removal is complete and paperwork is received by the city, properties at 630-632 Grant Ave., 215 Leopard St., 707 Main St., 298 Antelope St. and 60 E. Seventh St. are set to be demolished. |
